Our commitment

Total Medical & Wellness wants every patient and visitor to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or who have low vision, limited mobility, or cognitive differences. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we have done

  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first item for keyboard users.
  • The whole site, including the navigation menus, forms, the quiz and the cookie notice, works from the keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Text and controls are checked for color contrast, and pages are laid out to work at phone widths down to 320 pixels without sideways scrolling.
  • Form fields have labels, and errors and confirmations are announced to screen readers.
  • Images have text alternatives, and pages use headings and landmarks so they can be navigated by structure.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and moving effects are turned off.
  • We do not use an accessibility “overlay” plugin. Accessibility is built into the pages themselves.

Known limitations

Some content comes from outside services and is not fully under our control, such as embedded YouTube videos (caption availability varies), the patient-reviews widget, maps, and the financing application hosted by our financing partner. Some older downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve these where we can.
