After the comprehensive evaluation is complete, the provider will discuss the best treatment options for you. Testosterone replacement therapy can be achieved through a variety of methods. Pellets, creams, and injections are the most common delivery methods for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Pellets are inserted once every 3-5 months. Testosterone pellets are favored for their convenience, especially among individuals with busy schedules or aversions to injections. The creams require more frequent dosing and require more care to avoid spreading the medication to someone else. The injections are more accurate than pellets and more convenient than creams therefore we prefer injections. The injections are done with very small insulin needles to maximize comfort.  

No, as we know that life can bring changes. If you are on TRT and we are able to view your labs that were done less than 5 months ago then there is no reason to get them again. However, you will need to get labs in the future or if you have any changes/issues with your current dose.
